In the creative economy the people who make up your organisation are by far your most important asset.
Creative ideas and the people who know how to mould them do not grow on trees.
So when you are looking for a jobs board for this industry it makes sense to use a jobs board that is geared towards your industry.
creativepool is just that. We are not a big multi discipline jobs board.
We give creative people the opportunity to develop their career.
We give them a place to put up their CV and their portfolio and they will return time and time again when they need a job.
We send them out job auto alerts instantly - but not under general headings like "creative" - but specifically targeted alerts that we know they will be interested in.
In short we reach the people in our industry and our industry alone.
creativepool is for employers who are looking for experienced UK creatives and online tools to evaluate them
Based in West London, creativepool is actively marketed toward the UKs advertising, creative, design, digital, media, new media and web sectors.

If you are a recruitment agency please see below.
Placing a job is as simple as clicking on the job management tab, choosing your package and then entering your details.
The whole process takes about 10 minutes. Once your job is added we send it out through our auto-alert system to all the applicable users and display your job on the frontpage and on our jobs board.
The mechanics behind posting these are exactly the same. The difference is a brief is only on the site for 2 weeks and only those of our users who are registered as looking for freelance or part time work will get emailed a brief.
The moment you click submit your job is live on the creativepool site and users can view and apply for it.
15 minutes after this our system has worked it's way through your job and sends emails out the candidates that it feels are most suited to your posting.
Once they have received it they can click on the link in the email and they too can apply.
After 28 days (for jobs) and 14 days later (for briefs) your advert is automatically removed from the site, we'll email it to you to let you know.
As long as your job does not contravene any of our terms and conditions and you have enough job credits then you can post any job you would like. We specialise in jobs for the UKs creative industries - advertising, design, media, new media, interiors, print, publishing, fashion...
Once you have posted your job you can edit and tweak it as much as you like within the 28 day period.
creativepool currently has thousands of registered users. As far as we know we are the largest online resource for UK creative CVs and portfolios.
Each time a job or brief is added to creativepool all the users on our site that match the exact criteria of your job/brief get sent an email. Add this to the 30000+ unique users that creativepool receives every month and you'll see why we are one of the largest creative sites in the UK.
There are so many factors that can influence the response rate you will get. The job, where it is, what company it is etc all these things will affect how many users reply. The other thing that also affects your ad is the copy you use. Take a look below to see our suggestions on how to write a good advert.
Good people are always in demand so here are some brief tips to make your advert stand out from the rest.
- Keep your copy tight and brief. In the age of information we are all constantly bombarded by way too much copy. Tell the user what they want to know as quickly as possible.
- Make a catchy headline. Simply this way your advert will stand out from the rest.
- However make sure your headline is on brief and is backed up by the copy.
- Put in a salary range - this may not increase the number of applicants but you'll save time by not getting applicants that want more than you can pay.
- Just put in the facts - don't be tempted to make a job sound better than it is. Make sure you get across the benefits of working for your organisation.
- Make sure you choose a job type that matches the applicant you want.
- Make yourself aware of the law. Discrimination against individuals is against the law! If we are made aware of a job on the site we consider to fall under this category we will remove it.
creativepool realises that employment agencies offer a great service to the design community and as such the site has been especially engineered with employment agencies in mind.
We can offer discounted packages from our normal rates to employment agencies. If you would like a representative to talk you through your options and see if you qualify for a reduced rate trail then phone us on 020 7014 3338 or email your enquiry to agencies@creativepool.co.uk
creativepool is instant. You are minutes away from creating an account and having access to the largest database of creative CVs in the UK.
creativepool sells advertising space on each of the pages on the site. Due to the knowledge we have picked up from our users profiles we can deliver these adverts specifically to your target audience.
For example if you are trying to attract Graphic Designers then only our users who have a quick profile that says they are a Graphic Designer will get to see you advert.
Due to this targetting we can run multiple ads in different slots, you get to attract only the users you want and we can run ads for as little as £299 per month!
If you are interested in advertising then call 020 7014 3338 or email advertising@creativepool.co.uk
Desktop networking. When a user joins creativepool they have the option to add a reference from a previous employer. Our system sends out an email to their elected referee. The organisation that receives this can then log in to creativepool and leave an online reference for that individual along with a star rating. This rating runs from one to five stars with five being the best.
The feedback system is designed to give you a quick visual clue of what this candidate can offer.
Yes. This is to ensure that this part of our service is not abused by people leaving "misleading" information. We also randomly check references left by users to check their validity.
To leave feedback you need to click on the link that has been sent to your emal address. You need to ensure that all of the link is intact as sometimes long urls (addresses) can get broken up by your mail programme. The full link should look something like this:
http://www.creativepool.co.uk/feedback.php?ref=username
When you click this link you should see a feedback request page once you have registered on the site then you will have the opportunity to leave your feedback.
If this doesn't appear to work then try and copy and paste the whole url (address) into your browser (internet explorer etc)
If you are still having problems then please forward the email to feedback@creativepool.co.uk
Click here and we will take you through to the help page where you can fill out the Password Recovery. This asks you to enter your email address and will send your username and password to your email inbox.
If it doesn't appear and you use a free mail service (yahoo, hotmail etc) then check in the Bulk Mailbox sometimes automated emails can be viewed as spam from enthusiastic mail programmes.
Log in and funnily enough click on edit my details on the left hand menu bar.
