I have a number of clients across the Midlands that are looking for freelance people with proven skills in Web Design and Development.

Areas where freelancers are high demand are:

Front end creative design
HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery
Flash designers and developers (ActionScript 2/3)
CMS - Joomla!, Mambo, Drupal
PHP, ASP.net, C#CMS, AJAX, SOAP, C++
Search Engine Optimization: XML Site Mapping, meta tagging

Freelancers are needed mainly to work in the clients studio with hourly rates between 25 - 40 depending on the project.
