THE COMPANY:
One of the UK's leading appliance protection specialists, protecting 7.5 million appliances is seeking a web designer to join their digital marketing team.
Working as part of the Web team within the Marketing department, the Web Designer role will be to create HTML/CSS designs from concept to final realisation under approval of the Senior Web Designer. You will also develop the existing sites, enhancing their design and information architecture.
The Web Designer will be responsible for the design and creation of HTML/CSS websites and email campaigns for the company and its clients.
THE CANDIDATE:
Knowledge of:
Dreamweaver
Photoshop
Fireworks
HTML, CSS
JS (familiar)
Sound work experience in web design (HTML,CSS)
Web Graphic Design (Expert)
Expert knowledge of Information Architecture, Usability techniques and Accessibility
Experience creating wireframe designs as well as Photoshop and HTML/CSS designs
Ability to see projects through from concept to completion
Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, HTML (able to hand code), CSS
Good organisational skills
Ability to work to procedures and deadlines
Good communication skills and an ability to work with a range of people across the company
Strong all-round I.T skills
