The Role

This is a senior role that requires an experienced editor atmanagerial level. As contracted publishers of books and new media, thecandidate must have strong organisational skills together with a provencombination of delivering strong editorial and creative content in ahighly commercial environment.

Running an in-house team of ten, together with freelancers, day-to-dayactivities include: editorial planning, commissioning, editing, leadingthe creative team and approving designs, management duties such asmeeting deadlines, monitoring team performance. In addition, managingkey client relationships, producing web, sales support, and new pitchcopy, are also an important part of this challenging and variedposition.
