An experienced Design Manager is required for one of the world's largest property developers.

They are recruiting for a Design Manager who has extensive experience in restaurant, bars and hospitality design to join their London team.

The project you will be working on is set to be Europe's largest shopping centre and opening at the end of 2011, so it is imperative you are able to work to strict deadlines, follow established guidelines and budgets.

As a Design Manager for the restaurant and bar areas your main responsibilities will include:

• Initiate contact and meet with retailers and their designer to discuss design standards and the delivery process
• Negotiate timeframes with tenants, designers and shop fitters
• Review design concepts and detailed drawings
• Keep up to date with design trends, and any performance factors or issues that may impact the retailers
• Work with multiple retailers and designers concurrently and manage design standards and eliminate any conflicts
• Ensure all actions and decisions adhere to established procedure and practice

You need to have strong sketching ability, flexibility to travel and be client facing.
