This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company which is a leader in the contract market with original contemporary product. The company is involved in many prestigious UK and international projects including Cruise ships, 5-star Hotels and Heathrow Terminal 5.

The successful candidate will be part of the Design Team and report to the Design Director and Design Manager. The role requires good communication skills and good project management skills, together with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Sourcing product and liaising with external suppliers will be an important part of your role in order to expand the product range. A good understanding of sourcing, costing, subcontracting and quality checking of components will be required.

You will have a good understanding of design, assist in product design and development and enable new product to progress from prototype into production. Good CAD drawing skills, attention to detail and the ability to produce clear manufacturing drawings are essential.

IT skills required are Mac and PC based, CAD experience essential, ideally Vectorworks and Solidworks.
