KHWS Ltd. is a successful marketing agency based in Central London, working on a wide variety of digital, print and marketing campaigns with well known global brands.

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Front-end Web Developer to provide new ideas and become an integral part of our companies growing position within digital design.

We are in need of a fresh enthusiastic team player who is keen to primarily provide production and development on a variety of digital media, working closely with senior designers to help create quality online campaigns.

You will have a great eye for detail and solid understanding of web technologies, email marketing, social media and banner advertising. Ideally your main interests are in the different languages, functioning, architecture and trends of the digital arena.

If you have only a small amount of industry experience, a willingness to learn and an understanding of project development will be expected. It will also be a distinct advantage if you possess the basic understanding and skills to move into print artworking when required.

Required skills:
Competent with XHTML and CSS and be able to slice designs and code clean browser and email client compatible emails.
A solid skill set in Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Be able to comfortably take design concepts and creatively build and animate Flash banners to be applied to various publish sizes.
Basic knowledge of Actionscript 2/3 with skills to read and modify existing code for desired results.

Extra beneficial skills:
Background experience with dotMailer, EyeBlaster or similar.
Experience with Fireworks and Final Cut Pro.
Good understanding of Flash animation techniques.
Understanding deployment and display of multi-language XHTML emails.
Knowledge of Indesign and understanding of print processes with experience artworking print material.

Its important to stress that although we will value and encourage creative input from our new junior front-end developer, we are not looking for another designer! Only candidates with solid code and digital build work experience need apply.
