Our client is part of one of the world's largest agency networks, yet retain a boutique feel and their individuality. The continued growth and restructuring of the business has meant that an opportunity for a seasoned Head of Strategic Planning has surfaced!
You will be pivotal in delivering amazing results for a set of clients within the FMCG space, and be tasked with improving an already superb agency reputation through the planning of groundbreaking campaign elements.
Your role will include:
* To lead the development of a highly effective, well-respected and extremely successful planning function within the agency. They will be expected to achieve this through:
* Hiring and creating the right team to enable this to happen
* Driving this team towards exceptional delivery/execution in strategic planning
* In conjunction/partnership with the Technology, Creative & Client Services Teams provide critical customer insights and thought leadership that are cultural, perceptual, behavioural and technological.
* Overall strategic direction of the work that the agency produces for its clients
* Working closely with all of the external agency partners on a given client's business
* Working with the agency's senior clients as a thought leader and trusted advisor to contribute towards the development of integrated marketing strategies that include at their heart digital solutions
* Developing ROI models to underpin and rationalise investment in digital marketing communications
* Overseeing and directing the effort of data analysts on client business
* Defining the best practice processes, methodologies and tools for successful delivery of the planning offering
You should be able to demonstrate from your previous roles
Solid qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
Highly capable people management skills
Strong ability to create high performing teams
Working with syndicated research and ability to lead and design primary research
Knowledge of media/communications planning, DM & CRM
Knowledge of IA/UXP planning methods
Experience working with data analysts for developing ROI metrics models
Knowledge of latest web platforms/solutions, mobile, and other digital environments
