 Book publisher seeks a design manager to head up a small art department. You will be an experienced and enthusiastic professional with strong creative vision to direct book cover design and imprint branding. You’ll work in conjunction with the marketing and editorial departments to develop briefs for cover and promotional design work and will have overall responsibility for ensuring that all creative work is of the highest standard. You’ll oversee budgeting ensuring that work is delivered to tight deadlines, run vision meetings and provide an awareness of internal and competitive sales trends. Were looking for a top-notch senior creative who can offer a knowledge of the adult fiction market and provide valuable input into cover direction.
