Experienced Mid-weight Front End Developer urgently required for leading digital agency based in Central London.  This is a great opportunity to join a trend-setting agency and take responsibility for the production, modification and maintenance of websites and web applications user interfaces. You will have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ideally extensive experience with jQuery.  We will provide the opportunity of working as part of an extremely talented team, or working on smaller projects as sold developer and closely with server side developers.  You will be comfortable discussing technical solutions with the Senior Producers, whilst providing innovative new ideas.   Your commercial knowledge will be cutting edge; you'll ideally understand emerging web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3, with a solid understanding of Web Accessibility.  Your career to date will have given you experience to a fast paced digital agency, where you will have developed cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions, whilst having experience of working with version control systems such as SVN. Key skills required: - Experience with CVS or Subversion for Version Control Familiarity with WordPress Setup, Alteration and Theme Development Understanding of Social APIs such as Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare Working knowledge of ActionScript with the ability to implement and modify existing AS code Intermediate understanding and experience of back-end programming language (PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, JAVA/J2EE) Advanced knowledge of SEO and Internet Marketing Desirable skills: - Good knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 Awareness of JSP and server-side Java technologies Experience with Tomcat or JBoss
