Job title: Junior designer and programmer

Objective: To provide creative and technical support across offline and online channels.

The ideal candidate will join a small, fast paced online fashion company. You will be a confident, hard-working individual with design and programming experience. The role sits between the print and web designers and you will be required to cover parts of both these jobs.

Key Skills:

- Experience with Dreamweaver (NTML/CSS/Javascript), Flash CS4 (actionscript), Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
- Image retouching
- Multi-page layout
- Uploading content via ftp
- Experience with email broadcast system (an advantage but can will receive training)
- Good attention to details
- Creative flair
- Organized and a good communicator
- Able to manage project deadlines and work within a team

Duties and responsibilities to include (but not restricted to):

- Image retouching and preparation
- Catalogue layout preparation
- Web image preparation, optimization & re-sizing
- Flash video shelling
- Creation of online banners
- Programming and sending of weekly emails
- Assist with creative input across all design projects
- Setting up asset folders
- Adherence to brand guidelines

General Admin:

- Assist the brand team in achieving the company objectives
- Help out on other team projects or assume new duties as the need arises
- Any other duties deemed appropriate

Salary:

18-22k depending on experience
