The ELT Division is a global leader in the provision of multimedia English language teaching and learning materials. Operating in over 100 countries, it reaches millions of teachers and students each year to support the development of English language proficiency.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and highly motivated individual to join our Primary Design team. The role involves developing inspiring and effective designs for a range of print and digital resources (including textbooks, posters, CD-ROMs, websites, and interactive whiteboard materials).
Reporting to a Design Project Manager, and working in cross-functional teams, this is a highly creative and hands-on role. You will work on all aspects of the design process, from original concept design, through imaginative visualizations and stunning layouts, to final files ready for print or digital delivery. You will also, manage and co-ordinate the work of external suppliers.
Youll be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications for both print and digital products, have strong organizational and communication skills, and be able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently.
You should possess:
oexceptional design and typographic skills, and the ability to visualize
ostrong creative vision and concept development skills
oa team-working approach to problem solving
othe ability to prioritize and manage a challenging workload in order to meet deadlines
oexperience of managing freelance suppliers
You should be educated in Graphic Design to degree level (or equivalent), and have proven experience working in a professional publishing environment, producing design for print and digital products.
