Senior Flash Games Designer

Endemol Games produce high quality gaming product for the gambling industry. Typically our games are based on Television brands and formats, often these have been developed by other divisions within Endemol (Deal or No Deal, Big Brother, The Million Pound Drop) but we also work with external partners developing their brands and IP. We are looking for contract Flash Designer(s) to replace our current Senior Designer within our Production team.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be primarily expected to provide the front end Flash Designs for our online gambling games. Ideally the candidate will have prior experience in designing for gambling products such as slots and fixed odds games though this is not essential.

The candidate will be required to help on other departmental projects such as creating artwork for pitch documents, website design work and other ad hoc pieces of work.

They will be required to liaise closely and effectively with our production team (Developers, Flash Designers, Project Manager and Executive Producer). The candidate will be expected to, within reason, adhere to deadlines, technical and quality requirements and budgets. Some knowledge and application of AS2 and AS3 coding would be ideal when liaising with our Flash Developers.

The candidate will be responsible for taking designs from concept to final flash delivery and when possible work closely with our flash developers to implement design solutions.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate an understanding of game interface design, a passion for animation (2D & 3D) and have an interest in game design in general.

In order to keep our products ahead of the competition we are looking for a candidate who can be innovative in their design approach and solutions, with a good eye for detail who can also add gloss and sparkle to truly bring our games to life.

Photoshop CS2 5

Illustrator CS2 - 5

Flash CS2 5

After Effects

Cinema4D (or preferred 3d application)

Some experience of AS2/3

Illustrative skills would be advantageous but not essential;
