This creative hothouse is regarded as an ideas hub for some of the globes best brands and really do push boundaries when it comes to been heard and seen therefore they seek an Account Digital Director to focus on social media and who will support the planning on the brand side of the account.
The aim of this new role is to challenge the client to think about digital differently, away from display, so understanding of social, emerging channels and content led pieces is essential. You will need to work pro-actively, as well as off brief, and so need to constantly be on top of new opportunities/technologies and your game.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day brand planning and also producing, with support from the planning director, larger strategic pieces, either in digital or as a cross media project with comms and be expected to produce innovative brand solutions across all spheres of social media and back this up with robust insights and measurement models.
As the Director you will also be expected to challenge your team, the client and their peers by pushing boundaries in the current digital planning.
You will also work closely with the comms planning teams, so there is a great opportunity to learn more cross media new skills.
As the main point of contact for day to day client business and digital new business on the brand side you will liaise with several creative agencies.
As the digital director you will also play a huge role in running the day to day team on an internal level alongside the current PR AD's and be charge of a core team of 4 direct reports.
Strong social media with good creative flair is a definite must have for this role and you will also come with solid experience in developing digital strategy, creative ideas and projects in line with agreed objectives
You will have the opportunity to work with the global enterprise office which in many cases will result in trips to New York.
The understanding of the digital and social media landscape is vital for your own progression into an Associate Director role, but for that you need to have your fingers on the pulse.
