Doubletake Studios is the UK's leading makeover photography studio.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Post Production Team Leader who is looking to further develop their management skills in a fast paced environment. Working within our trendy Clerkenwell Studios, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of Retouchers to ensure completion of daily production orders targets. The successful applicant will also help to develop and implement improvements within the department, ensuring the highest quality of service is provided within the agreed time frame.

Part time- Friday- Sunday shifts

Hours: 9.00-6.30

Salary: 20,000-23,000 pro rata

Main Tasks and Responsibilities will include:

Manage and Drive Performance of a Post Production Team:

• Motivate and develop team members to maximise productivity and quality
• Regular monitoring and Feedback
• Regular Coaching
• Regular performance reviews and Performance Management where necessary
• Manage Attendance and Lateness across the Team
• Manage any day to day behavioural issues
• Resolve queries from team, escalating where outside limits of authority
• Assist New Starters after their training
• Recruitment and training of new starters
• Scheduling production order volumes prioritizing and monitoring workflow
• Retouching images to the required standard

Quality Control/ Process Improvements and Reporting:

• Resolving orders issues raised by Client Support and feeding these back to Post Production Manager
• Being first point of contact for Client Support and Dispatch teams
• Assisting Production and Retouching Manager with production process improvement
• Implementing best use of technology
• Generating daily, weekly and monthly reports on team performance

Suitable candidates need to have experience of operating at supervisory level with excellent people management skills. You will be a highly motivated individual, strong communicator and possess excellent organisational skills. We need someone who is proactive, has strong problem solving skills and the confidence and ability to make decisions and implement changes.

You will have:

• Proven experience of commercial retouching (preferably In a high speed retouching environment)
• Experience of working in an IT networked environment
• Proven experience implementing new process and procedure
