The Digital Design Team will report into this role
You must possess a thorough understanding of interaction design principles and best practices, with a strong understanding of how visual and interaction design work together to create a user experience
Apply user-centred design process to create high quality user experiences
Present concepts, designs and interactions to key stakeholders to gather feedback and refine project solutions
Translate usability research findings into design improvements
Active participation in Creative Media Department to develop new methods, techniques and points of view to grow the interaction design practice
Build industry expertise in areas such as in-store, mobile and social media, focusing not only on the interaction design part of the experience but the larger strategic and consumer issues to form a holistic view of the space
Outstanding visual design skills and strong use of design technologies and tools; demonstrated understanding of current and emerging technologies
Broad understanding of design (how to leverage business strategy, research and design to deliver compelling experiences)
Ability to clearly communicate concepts and design rationale to team members
Passion for creating compelling digital experiences
Works with other Art Directors, Copywriters and the Marketing & Communications Department in production of creative materials
Meet with Project Managers, as required, to ensure timely and accurate project estimates and completion of assigned projects.
