JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Creative Director.
This position requires an experienced web creative designer. You will be required to create original graphic design and layout concepts for new clients and pitches, as well as being able to follow design and brand guidelines for existing clients and design styles. You may also be required to lead and guide the work of other graphic designers and/or production design staff, some of which will be freelance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create original design concepts for pitches and new projects
Create user journey ideas for design concepts
Produce original interface design and be able to advice on latest web site design trends
Be able to follow design guidelines for pre existing brands
Collaborate and/or oversees/coordinate the production process for online front end development, working with front end developers.
Develop and be able to write production specifications.
Provides technical advice and guidance for design issues such as accessibility and usability.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
With a degree in a relevant subject such as Graphic Design or New Media Design you will have at least 5 years of experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to identify and interpret graphic design needs and develop creative concepts
Ability to work on more than one project at a time
Must be able to work as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment.
Knowledge of usability and accessibility issues and standards
Writes and edit basic copy, as appropriate.

SOFTWARE
Essential:
Adobe creative suite
Proficiency within html and css (although this role is not a developer role)
Proficiency in Flash (ActionScript would be an advantage, but not essential as we have developers)

Desirable:
Experience designing for content management systems
Experience in print design and print publishing (Adobe InDesgin)
HTML & CSS
