Creative Director - West Midlands - Permanent - 50,000 to 55,000

This fast growing company offer a wide range of innovative packaging solutions for UK and International clients. They are currently looking for a Creative Director to joining them in their West Midlands office. As a Creative director you will be heading up the R&D function of their global business

The Creative Director will be involved in the following:

* To manage the Global function of Creative / R&D dept
* Strategizing the development of the UK based creative / R & D function
* Liaising with Senior Purchasing and Manufacturing contacts, globally
* Liaising with Suppliers both internally and externally
* Strong ability to pitch to Clients and to bring on New Business
* Reporting to the Board of Directors / Shareholders and the Managing Director
* A Conceptual / Creative thinker able to drive the Creative / R & D function with strong focus on usage of biogradeable, compatible, cost conscious materials and processes
* Exploring development ideas and new initiatives for design and researching the market place in full
* Managing the small Creative / R&D Team, providing mentoring and inspiration

In order to apply for this Creative Director role you will need to be able to provide evidence the following skills:

* Working in a relevant FMCG, Retail, Marketing and /or Creative function - essential
* Pak tech knowledge - desirable
* A strong Innovator and Conceptual thinker
* Technical background - desirable
* Experience or knowledge of the Far East markets - desirable
* Experience of Multiple retailers - essential
* Retail Pack experience

Candidates for this Creative Director role will be educated to Degree level, they will be quick thinking, proactive and able to communicate at all levels.
