This is a fabulous opportunity to work for a leading international communication agency who is recruiting for a Junior Digital Designer to join their team.  The main aim of the Junior Digital Designer is to provide support to the design team by taking on responsibility for a variety of nominated design tasks and small projects.

Junior Digital Designer Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for design and implementation of creative tasks with the support and guidance of the middle weight and senior designer on a daily basis
• To provide support to the design team ensuring that all current projects are delivered in a creative, accurate, meticulously well designed, timely and cost effective manner at all times
• To understand art work and production requirements in order to effectively implement design
• To produce mock-ups for presentation to a high standard
• To assist in preparation of design tasks for new business pitches as required
• To liaise with the Traffic Manager and maintain and order studio supplies
• To be responsible for the maintenance of accurate design team administration including keeping the filing of design projects, up to date
• To keep up to date with current trends and to use this knowledge to expand your creative thinking

Junior Digital Designer Skills & Experience:

• You will have a passion for and an appreciation of creative ideas in the marketing and business world, especially digital
• You will have experience as a Junior Designer within a creative environment
• You will be fully proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Other design software knowledge would be beneficial
• You will have an understanding of formats for both print and digital design work
• You will be able to demonstrate a mixture of strong design skills and commercial awareness
