Role summary

Responsible for the interactive design and development across a breadth of high profile projects, clients, pitches and briefs ensuring they are delivered to the highest creative and technical standards.

Creative

• To work in partnership across all departments to produce the best response to creative briefs in the desired digital mediums and to the highest quality
• To produce stunning layouts, engaging photography, illustration and typography, overseeing the work of other specialists such as illustrators and photographers where necessary
• To take the lead on high profile work requiring a depth and breadth of creative thinking and design excellence
• To demonstrate a full understanding of each client's brand values, guidelines and briefs and ensure all finished work complies with these guidelines
• To exhibit a clear ability to self edit and to deliver valid initial thinking
• To have a passion for presenting your creative work, delivering all major designs to clients in a way that inspires and excites
• To work on new business pitches, producing outstanding creative work that inspires and procures new clients
• To keep up to date with current trends and to utilise this knowledge to expand your design and creative skills and share your knowledge within the Creative dept and agency
• To take responsibility for your personal development by being proactive in looking for ways to expand and grow your skill set and creative thinking. For example via new projects or clients, internal mentoring and out of work activities
• To demonstrate a full understanding of each client's brand values, guidelines and briefs and ensure all finished work complies with these guidelines
• To play an active and positive role in the Dare creative community, promoting and demonstrating the behaviours required by the agency's creative culture

Client & Management

• To present work as required at internal WIP meetings and external client meetings
• To have skills and experience in delivering truly creative and convincing solutions to clients, staking out the creative space for each project and offering a range of different creative design solutions
• To have an understanding of your clients strategic intentions, key creative issues and business objectives and look to respond to those in your work

We will only be able to consider applications from senior digital designers who can clearly demonstrate these 7 points within their CV.

• 5+ year's digital design experience working in a busy agency environment
• Graduate with an art/design degree from a recognised college/university
• Passion for creativity & design from conceptual thinking to final output
• Experience in digital advertising and of producing good campaigns
• Instinctive brand awareness and demonstrated experience of pushing boundaries and evolving brands
• Excellent communication skills with experience of presenting to clients and building strong strategic partnerships with other areas of the agency such as client services.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines, whilst still producing outstanding creative work
