The Role

The Digital Designer is responsible for concept development, web design, motion graphic exploration and final execution of design directions.

This role works successfully within a team setting that includes collaboration with Art Directors, Interactive Creative and Technical Departments to ensure on-brand and technically sound visual design and motion graphic solutions.

• Works with Web Designers and User Interface Designers, providing complete input and any instruction and supervision required to smoothly complete production of approved motion graphics
• Strives to meet assigned deadlines
• Meets with Project Managers as required, to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned projects
• Working knowledge of web design software and hardware and strives to stay current in level of knowledge and abilities
• Understands overall how a website comes together and the challenging and ever-changing internet
• Maintain a professional and collaborative demeanour in all internal and client interactions and communications.

The Person

The ideal candidates will have:

• Previous experience in online advertising
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of Flash Actionscript
• Ability to write html and CSS
• Previous editing experience with After Effects beneficial
• Previous involvement in creating online media assets as well as html emails/evites
• Experience of building simple microsites
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, working at fast pace to deliver results
• Flexible approach and the ability to drive ideas from conception to project delivery
• A keen interest in digital innovations and new competitor market trends
