We have an exciting opportunity fortwo highly creative individuals to join our newly restructured everyday creative team.
Introduction
The Tigerprint business was formed in 1996 to supply exclusive cards and wrapping to Marks and Spencer. We now design and manufacture over 1500 new products created every year. We continue to expand into new and growing areas like toys, games and stationery.

Job Purpose and Responsibilities
The role requires theindividual to have the ability to drive design development and innovation within the remit of the role
Critical path management is essential and the ability to think on their feet and adapt to the ever changing demands of the category.
Requirements
This role requires the chosen individual to have the ability to drive design development and innovation within the remit of the role, demonstrating a strong understanding of the consumer/ customer needs. They will have the skills to translate these into commercial yet forward thinking product for the M&S range, through both direct briefing of design and also delegation through their direct reports.
Critical path management is essential and the ability to think on their feet and adapt to the ever changing demands of the category. A further requirement of the role will be someone who will have a proven track record of managing people, and evidence of strong cross category team skills. They will be able to present articulately to senior management and directors within the business, and to customers when required.
The Individual
- Degree in design discipline preferably one of the following 3D, Decorative Arts eg textile design, ceramics, illustration, graphics
- Awealth of experiencein design management, (with direct reports) preferably with a career in creative from a retailer background or supplier to retail. Some knowledge / experience of working with Far East supply base an advantage.
