Role Purpose
These are exciting sessional teaching opportunities to join the TowerHamlets Lifelong Learning Service tutor pool.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for excellent teaching and learning in yourspecific subject (s) and supporting post 16 learners in the LifelongLearning Service.

You will work with the Programme and Standards teams to develop a fullrange of curriculum development for the Lifelong Learning Serviceprogramme of adults and family learning.

You will contribute to the promotion of a culture of LifelongLearning in Tower Hamlets and working to make the Lifelong learningService an excellent provider.

Requirements
You will need to have a detailed knowledge of the subject (s) to betaught and professional working experience.

A knowledge of teaching mixed ability groups as well as knowledge anunderstanding of current best practice in teaching and learning.

A nationally recognised teaching qualification commensurate with thepost or evidence of undertaking appropriate study to gain suchqualifications.

Registration with the Institute for Learning (IfL) in the appropriatecategory.

Flexible and able to work evening and weekends as required.
